Nonu terms of service

Nonu is intended for radiologists, trainees and authorized clinical staff aged 18 or older. Keep your account secure and do not share your credentials. Tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.

Only enter information you are authorized to process. Do not access another person’s records without permission, interfere with the service, bypass plan limits or use Nonu unlawfully.

If you use Nonu for an employer or institution, you must have the necessary authorization. Accounts currently belong to individuals; an institution is not a party to these terms unless it enters a separate agreement with Nonu.

Nonu is for reporting and workflow support. It does not practice medicine or replace clinical judgment.

You are responsible for the findings, measurements, edits and signatures in your reports. Templates, dictation, report checks and AI suggestions may be wrong or incomplete.

A report without a warning has not necessarily been checked for clinical accuracy. The built-in viewer is a reference viewer for drafting, not a system intended or validated for primary diagnostic interpretation.

Use approved diagnostic systems and follow the professional, institutional and clinical-record requirements that apply to your work.

Your reports, templates, snippets and uploaded files remain yours or the property of their rightful owner. You give Nonu the limited permission needed to process content that you choose to store or send through the service.

Cloud report storage uses Nonu’s infrastructure and enables supported cloud access, sharing and collaboration.

Local report storage saves reports in your browser on your device. It does not include automatic cloud backup or cross-device sync. You are responsible for exporting and keeping copies of local reports you need to retain. Clearing browser data or losing the device may permanently remove them.

A local report may still be sent to a provider if you choose to share, upload, sync or use a cloud feature with it. Local report storage does not mean your account, payments or all application functions are offline. Our Privacy Policy explains these differences.

You are responsible for deciding what to share and confirming that recipients are authorized. Export is available in supported formats, including PDF, Word and plain text.

Before using Nonu for regulated clinical information, you and your organization must confirm that the intended storage option, features, providers and required agreements are appropriate. Do not use it for HIPAA-regulated information unless the relevant deployment and providers are covered by all required agreements, including business associate agreements.

AI output is a draft or suggestion, not a clinical conclusion. Check every suggestion before accepting it into a report.

Cloud AI and transcription send selected report information or audio to external providers when requested. Use them with patient information only when the processing is authorized and any required agreements are in place. Offline dictation processes audio on your device.

Nonu relies on third parties for infrastructure, authentication, payments and some optional functions. Problems with those services may affect availability.

Plan features, limits, prices, taxes, billing periods and renewal methods are shown before checkout. Payments are processed through Paystack.

• Free trial. An account that has never had a trial or a paid plan can start a card plan with a 14-day free trial. To confirm the card, we charge GH₵1 and refund it straight away. The plan is active during the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the card is charged the plan price on the date shown at checkout and renews automatically after that. Cancel in billing settings before that date and you are not charged. Each account gets one trial.
• Card subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancel renewal in billing settings; paid access continues to the end of the current billing period.
• Mobile Money subscriptions require manual renewal. If you do not renew, your plan moves to Free at the end of the paid period.
• Failed card payments may lead to a short grace period and then a move to Free.

Moving to Free does not itself delete your reports, templates or snippets, but paid features and higher quotas stop. Canceling a subscription is not the same as closing an account.

Payments are generally non-refundable once paid service has been made available, unless checkout states otherwise or applicable law provides a refund or cancellation right.

We work to keep Nonu available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change features or apply reasonable limits to address security, misuse, provider problems or legal requirements.

We may restrict or suspend access for misuse, non-payment or security reasons. Where circumstances allow, we will give reasonable notice before terminating an account for a material breach. You may request an export, subject to lawful restrictions and technical availability.

Closing an account starts a verified deletion review. Some information may be retained where required for clinical records, legal obligations, disputes, payments or security. Local reports stored on your own device are not necessarily deleted when you close the online account; manage those copies separately.

Nonu is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or suitability for every clinical requirement, and we exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses where such exclusions are lawful.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid Nonu in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, without removing mandatory rights or remedies available under the law that applies to you. We may update these terms and will give additional notice or seek renewed acceptance where required.
